You guys, I'm living in the BBM fandom forever. The comments on yesterday's fic have been so nice. I'd forgotten what a glutton for comments I was, and spent yesterday evening and this morning purring like a cat in a hamster cage.

A pretentious, Smiths-loving Mancunian ghost. PRETENTIOUS. SMITHS-LOVING. MANCUNIAN. GHOST. It's like they went into my brain and found the thing I most wanted but never even knew it. This show is IMMENSE.

Ooooh, now this was good telly. Some wonderfully disturbing little moments in this episode: the DVD, the kitchen scene, Herrick in general - but also a lovely swathe of humour: Casablanca, Mitchell's plate of chocolate digestives, the awesome bitchy nurse with the pen in her hair. Being Human looks very promising. The first episode of a series is usually the weakest, and I enjoyed this, so hurrah! I shall definitely be keeping up with it. I like all three main characters so far - Annie and her cups of tea, George and his "private!" transformations, and Mitchell and his not-at-all-overwhelming vampire broodiness. The ( Read more... )
